OLIVIA SHORT

LPAT, ATR-BC

Olivia is a board-certified Licensed Art Therapist who offers a warm, creative space where you can come just as you are — overwhelmed, uncertain, or seeking change. She works to take time to understand your story — not just where you’ve been, but how it’s shaped you.

Through art, conversation, reflection, and collaboration you will uncover your strengths, build new tools, and feel more connected, empowered, and grounded in who you are. Along the way, Olivia will gently guide, challenge, and support you in the formation of a healthier inner dialogue so you can break the negative cycle that holds you back and step into meaningful change.

In her practice, Olivia has a special interest in adolescents but sees clients of all ages for individual and family therapy. She is trained in EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT. She received her undergraduate degrees in Fine Arts and Education from Western Kentucky University and her Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services from University of Louisville.

Outside of therapy, you can find Olivia outdoors – hiking, running, or just enjoying nature. She loves to travel, paint, dance to live music, and chat over a good cup of coffee. Olivia believes healing begins when we feel seen and safe to be ourselves — and she is honored to walk alongside you as you rediscover your voice, your strength, and sense of connection.
